As a mother and a photographer, I know how easily the days blur together and how quickly the moments disappear.
One minute you’re rocking a sleepy newborn, the next you’re packing lunchboxes and wondering how the baby you just held is already walking through the school gates.
I started photographing families because I wasn’t in enough of the photos with my own kids. My camera roll was full of memories, but I wasn’t in them. It was always my husband with the kids, never me.
I let insecurity keep me behind the iPhone. The exhaustion. Those kg's I told myself I needed to lose. The fear I wouldn’t like how I looked. And now? I’d give anything to step back into those early days and see myself there, loving them the way I did.
My work and my why isn’t just about taking beautiful photos. It’s about helping you step into the frame, even when you don’t feel ready or like what you see in the mirror.
